Keynote:
Stomp the Elephant in the Office

There’s something big and ugly that’s ransacking results in offices across the land. It’s an elephant – and a nasty one at that. (Don’t look behind you…there’s a good chance there’s one in your office, too.) Left unchecked, this beast crushes desired results – along with the joy people deserve to get from their work.

"The first day of our newly combined sales team got off to a great start. People are excited and fully engaged. People are excited about the attention to culture, and Craig's keynote was the perfect introduction to an engagement (wellness) culture. Fantastic job Craig! Thank you for making the scheduling work...you guys are supporting us in unbelieveable ways!"
David Yates, Regional Business Head North America, Novartis Medical Nutrition

"Craig Ross's interactive presentation at the Lincoln Human Resource Management Association meeting was a perfect way to start off a new year. The presentation was a positive, empowering, wellness message complete with real usable tools to help all of us make a positive impact on our organizations. We would love to hear more from Craig in the future!"   Mark Pankoke, President Elect, Lincoln Human Resource Management Association

"Stomp the Elephant in the Office was far more than a 'keynote' speech- it was an experience! The unique combination of Craig's high-energy and the simplicity of the tools he shared with our team made for an exciting and empowering time. We not only believe and understand that everyone can make a difference - we have the tools to start making that difference today! Craig's message to our team was the perfect way to kick-off our new year. We are all on fire and ready to have a blockbuster year in 2008!"
Ray Pasko, Vice President Field Sales - U.S., CIBA Vision

It takes a special gift to be able to engage that many people and you did a wonderful job.  After your presentation, I was standing outside with a friend who has not gone through (the) Pathways(to Leadership) yet.  She asked me "How different (i.e. negative) do you think the conversations would be if Craig had not encouraged us to remain on the positive and pro-active side?"  I was very impressed with that and shared it with many others throughout the week.  It was a powerful statement.
Thanks again,

Chris Pemantell /Nestle HealthCare Nutrition National Sales Meeting

Learn the tools to be the one who takes action and makes a difference. This highly interactive dialogue provides participants with a message and insight that transforms how work gets done. Participants learn the tools they need to evict elephants from the office - a direct link to increased employee engagement and productivity. As a bonus, attendees learn how to identify and deal with the “elephant keepers” that slow teams down and ruin results.

Depending on length, keynote will cover at least one of the following:

  • “The Information Corruptor”
Like a harmful acid, when people take the approach of withholding or sharing communication in a harmful way, interactions become toxic.
  • “The ‘It’s Not Me’ Syndrome”
If accountability for our actions and results lag, the customer suffers.
  • “The Idiot Factor”
When people think they work with idiots, they are assured that there is at least one idiot in the workplace.
  • “The Know-It-All-Numbskull”
Telling people what to do and trying to control others only means one thing: the organization will be out of control.
  • “The Gotta-Get-Mine Paradigm”
When people build destructive "feifdoms" in the organization, teamwork and productivity go out the window.

With the experienced coaching from the author, participants create their own sustainable plan to build a workplace culture that evicts elephants – thereby allowing people to get more done and enjoy work again.
How effective is your organization at delivering results? The answer to that question lies in answering this question: Are you breeding elephants in the office – or stomping them?

Get your boots on: it’s time to do some elephant-stomping!
